Creating data collectors
Add a single data collector or small number of data collectors to reflect minor changes to the organization.
- In the header of Pega Workforce Intelligence, click .
- On the Organization page, click Data Collectors.
- Click .
- On the New User window, enter the appropriate
information in the following fields:
Field Description First Name Enter the data collector’s first name. The first and last name appear on the list of data collectors.
Last Name Enter the data collector’s last name. Primary ID Enter the data collector’s main ID used to complete work. Some data collectors might use only use one ID. Others use multiple IDs. If you want to associate additional IDs with this data collector, use the Alternate IDs field. Alternate IDs Additional network IDs that the data collector uses to complete work. When you add an alternate ID, any work the data collector completes with this ID is associated with the Primary ID for reporting purposes. If you are adding multiple alternate IDs, type an alternate ID and then click outside of the Alternate ID field. The ID you added is displayed in a bubble, and you can click back inside the Alternate ID field and repeat the steps to add the next alternate ID, if needed.
If you add an alternate ID by accident before submitting changes, click the X for the alternate ID to remove it from the list.
Team Select the team to which this data collector belongs. Assigned Configuration Select the configuration that you want to assign to this data collector: - To indicate that this data collector inherits the configuration options assigned to its team, select Inherited.
- To indicate that this data collector uses the default configuration that was set up for your organization, select Default.
Custom configuration files might also be set up for your organization. Consult with your system administrator to determine which configuration file should be assigned to this data collector.
- Click Submit.
