Enabling and disabling applications and websites

Updated on May 5, 2021

Capture relevant information as the tools of your workforce change by enabling or disabling applications or websites.

  1. In the header of Pega Workforce Intelligence, click AdministrationApplication.
  2. On the Application Administration page, click the Edit icon beside the type of application or website, such as Production or Other Work, to move it to the Application area.
Note: You can use the Search field to search for an application or website.
  3. Use the Screen Details column to enable, disable, or set an application or website to test mode. You have the following options:
    ChooseIf you want to...
OnEnable the collection of screen data for the selected applications and websites for every Workforce Intelligenceassociate — everyone who has Pega Robot Runtime installed.

This information appears on the Analysis page.

OffDisable the collection of screen data for the selected applications and websites.
TestEnable the collection of screen data for the selected applications and websites for those users who are designated as test users in their client configuration or who have the EventConsumers > testUser key enabled in their RuntimeConfig.xml file. These settings allow them to serve as test subjects. For more information, see Adding custom client configurations.

With Test selected, you can capture all of the screen details for the selected test users and view the screen and page names to make sure no sensitive data is being shown.

Note: Your selection also appears in the State column on the Screen Administration page.
