SAML
Beginning in the 8.4 release, you can implement single sign-on (SSO) for Pega Workforce Intelligence using a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 identity provider. You can implement automatic SSO, or SAML only, which means that portal users click a button for their SAML provider and log in using their SAML credentials. The benefit of SAML is that users do not have to remember a different user name and password for Workforce Intelligence.
In the following example, users click the Log in with Pega button and enter their SAML credentials rather than logging in with credentials specific to Workforce Intelligence. (The button would use your organization’s name; this is just an example.)
In this example, the user also has the option to log in using their email and password in case SAML fails. You can choose whether to enable this backup option or not.
