Roles, portals, and dashboard in Pega Product Composer for Healthcare
Pega Product Composer System for Healthcare supports key roles that are associated with your day-to- day use of the application. The following table describes the key access roles that are provided with PCS:
Role name | Description |
Product Development | This role provides for the creation and configuration of PCS components such as benefits, product templates, and plans. By using the Product Development portal, current work assignments and workbaskets are shown as well as tagged components and recently resolved work. This is the primary workspace for a Product or Benefit Configuration user. |
Product Manager | The Product Manager role allows for the monitoring of resolved activities, work volumes, worklists, workbaskets, execution of reports, and final approval of work objects. This is done through the Product Manager portal. |
Document Management | This role provides for the creation and configuration of document templates, including the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) template. |
Super User | Super users are those users who can configure any PCS entities without going through the approval process. Approvals are bypassed for these users and work is done through the Product Development portal. |
Legal, State Mandate Specialist, DOI Specialist | There is a standard case worker portal for the access groups that are associated with these roles. The operators associated with this access group can process the work that is assigned to them. |
The Product Manager dashboard is targeted for managers and permits easy access to the PCS References, PCS Work Analysis, and PCS Work Monitoring reports and charts to monitor configuration activities.
