Roles, portals, and dashboard in Pega Product Composer for Healthcare

Pega Product Composer System for Healthcare supports key roles that are associated with your day-to- day use of the application. The following table describes the key access roles that are provided with PCS:

Role nameDescription
Product DevelopmentThis role provides for the creation and configuration of PCS components such as benefits, product templates, and plans. By using the Product Development portal, current work assignments and workbaskets are shown as well as tagged components and recently resolved work. This is the primary workspace for a Product or Benefit Configuration user.
Product ManagerThe Product Manager role allows for the monitoring of resolved activities, work volumes, worklists, workbaskets, execution of reports, and final approval of work objects. This is done through the Product Manager portal.
Document ManagementThis role provides for the creation and configuration of document templates, including the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) template.
Super User

Super users are those users who can configure any PCS entities without going through the approval process. Approvals are bypassed for these users and work is done

through the Product Development portal.

Legal, State Mandate Specialist, DOI SpecialistThere is a standard case worker portal for the access groups that are associated with these roles. The operators associated with this access group can process the work that is assigned to them.
Product manager dashboard

The Product Manager dashboard is targeted for managers and permits easy access to the PCS References, PCS Work Analysis, and PCS Work Monitoring reports and charts to monitor configuration activities.
