Pin enhancements in spaces

Improve discussions in spaces and stimulate effective communication by using enhanced capabilities of pins. For example, you can search, filter, and like pins, or pin content of a space to another space.

Create and assign tasks in Pulse

You can now create and assign tasks in Pulse for case work that needs to be completed within a specific time frame. For example, you can assign a task to yourself as a reminder to upload proof of address documents to a Car Loans case by the end of the day.

OAuth 2.0 support in Integration Designer

Integration Designer now supports the configuration of OAuth 2.0 authentication with authorization code and client credential grant types. Use OAuth 2.0 authentication when creating a new data type, replacing a data source, or updating a data source.

Experimental high-speed data page support

An experimental implementation of high-speed, read-only data pages is available. This implementation is useful when data pages are used to hold static data that is used repeatedly. You can enable this feature for a specific read-only data page from the Load Management tab of the data page rule form by clicking Enable high-performance read-only data page. This feature does not support full clipboard page functionality; use with caution.

The following functionality is supported:

• Basic page and property access (read and write properties) for all normal data types
• Hierarchical data page structure (pages within pages)
• Dictionary validation mode
• Read-only data pages

The following functionality is not supported:

• Declarative rules
• Page messages
• Complex property references
• Saving pages to a database
• API access to the data page

Personalize survey questions by reusing properties

Now you can create more dynamic and personalized surveys by incorporating answers to previous questions in subsequent questions. For example, you can ask users to provide their place of residence, and then reuse this data in the questions that follow. By using this feature, you create personalized surveys that are more engaging and more specific to users’ needs.

Discuss documents more effectively by using collaboration feedback

Create meaningful documentation for a case by collaborating with other users of your portal, such as the Case Manager or Worker portal. The collaboration feedback features in Pega Platform™ provide options for you to add Pulse comments to a document by responding to a notification email, share documents as URLs, and download documents as PDF files for offline viewing and editing. Collaboration feedback is a convenient and fast way to add valuable content for your case.

Manage access to the content in your spaces and cases

To more efficiently manage your content, you can grant access to documents only to specific space or case members in a portal that you use. Use this option to provide users with content that is tailored to their specific needs. Provide contextual and consistent documents for your users for more effective communication and case management.

Add content to cases and spaces from external repositories

Provide meaningful content for your cases and spaces faster by attaching files from third-party repositories. Pega Platform™ now supports sourcing documents from external repositories that you configure in your application. You do not need to download documents first, and then upload them to your case or space.

Improved clipboard performance for editable data pages

Improve clipboard performance for editable data page processing by using the new high-throughput mode option. This mode does not support all clipboard features.

Reuse when conditions when designing cases in App Studio

Reuse existing conditions to save time when you design a case in App Studio. Now you can use an existing when condition when you create a condition for a stage in your workflow. You can also define custom when conditions and save them for future use.
