Enhanced SLA settings in App Studio

You can now reuse existing service-level agreements for assignments and approvals in App Studio without switching to Dev Studio. For example, you can select an action that the system performs when a task goal or deadline is past due, such as reassigning the task to a different user.

Mashup code preview in App Studio

When you create a mashup channel for your application, you can now eliminate issues with the code and create better looking applications, by using the portal preview in App Studio. You can preview a channel to verify that different types of devices correctly display the mashup code. The preview functionality uses a default wrapper that functions as a portal for displaying a frame with the mashup code. You can modify the appearance of the default wrapper, and adapt the mashup user interface in design mode to meet your requirements.

Moderate and severe guardrail warnings require justification

When checking in a rule, all moderate and severe warnings must be justified. Guardrail warnings now appear in a warning header when you save a rule that has warnings. Requiring justification encourages developers to address guardrail warnings. For more information see Application guardrails require justification.

Improve clipboard performance for Service REST

Improve clipboard performance in Service REST processing by using the new Lightweight clipboard mode option. This mode does not support all clipboard features.

Create multistep forms for stages

In Case Designer, you can now create multistep forms for a stage. Create several focused and concise screens to capture the information from users instead of using a single long screen. For example, you can ask users for their personal details in one screen, and then ask them to describe their medical condition in a separate screen. When you create a multistep form, choose a template to determine how the users navigate between screens.

Progress gauge and double donut charts

To better visualize data, use the new progress gauge chart and double donut pie charts. The progress gauge chart measures the progress made against a goal. The double donut pie chart shows two layers of data in a single chart. The progress gauge chart can be included in reports and dashboard widgets. The double donut chart can be added to dashboard widgets.

Add subspaces within spaces

You can now create subspaces within spaces. By adding a subspace, you can collaborate on a subtopic that is related to the topic of the parent space. For example, you can create an Annual Day subspace within the Events space.

Improve clipboard performance for editable data page processing by using the new high-throughput mode option. This mode does not support all clipboard features.

Optimized performance of decision strategies

Strategies that are part of data flows are now automatically optimized to achieve the best performance. You can also choose the properties that a strategy outputs to further increase the efficiency without additional strain on your hardware.

Pin enhancements in spaces

Improve discussions in spaces and stimulate effective communication by using enhanced capabilities of pins. For example, you can search, filter, and like pins, or pin content of a space to another space.
