Discontinued support for list view and summary view rules

The list view rule and the summary view rule are deprecated, and support for these rules has been discontinued. Existing list view and summary view reports will continue to work on supported browsers. However, the last version of Internet Explorer that list view and summary view rules support is Internet Explorer 11.

You cannot create new list view or summary view reports. Instead, create list reports and summarized reports by using the report definition rule. To prevent display issues, re-create the custom list view and summary view reports that you need as report definition reports.

Process Outline view is unavailable

Process Outline view is no longer available as of this release. Use Case Designer instead to configure your processes. For advanced options, you can open the underlying flow for a process in Process Modeler.

Access views in one location

You can access the relevant views for your case type in one place. By using the Views tab in Case Designer, you can review and edit views that are used in your case life cycle. You can also configure standard views to quickly customize the fields that are displayed when a user creates, edits, or reviews a case.

Revamped view authoring in Cosmos React

Applications that use Cosmos React now feature updated case and portal authoring tools, including more templates, improved view editing, and more intuitive management of UI components.

This change empowers citizen developers to build applications through configuration as opposed to customization, and reduces development time while also providing a prescriptive environment for creating optimal customer experience.

View external data entities in one location

The External Data Entities landing page provides a consolidated view of all the existing data entities in your product. You can access this page by clicking Designer Studio > Data Model > View external data entities. Use this landing page to identify the data sources that are readily available to use and the sources that need to be replaced with production data sources.

Cannot view all custom context posts in Pulse

When you use Pulse in a custom context, the custom context label is displayed as plain text instead of as a link that you can click to view all posts that are associated with the custom context.

Visualize tasks more clearly with the task board view

In spaces and other contexts, you can now monitor and track the resolution of cases by using the task board view. This view groups tasks into columns by status to provide a visual overview for all members of a space. By default, the task board view is enabled in spaces, but you can enable it in any context to meet your needs.

Enhancements in list view authoring and run-time editing of Cosmos React tables

Cosmos React tables now offer an enriched and more convenient way of authoring and editing. You can now achieve the following results:

• Enable editing in the list view template that holds your table so that users can instantly change values inline or preview and edit a referenced object from the table in a pop-up window.
• Change the label, format, or helper text for a column at design time.
• Create multiple preset views with different filters, and switch between these views at run time.
• Perform a variety of optional actions on a table row, such as update, change stage, preview, and open a row in a new tab.

These enhancements result in a better user experience by making tables more customizable, intuitive, and interactive.

Changes to the Attach Content control in Pega Client for Windows

Users who access offline-enabled Pega Platform™ applications from Pega Client for Windows can now use the Attach Content control within a case view to attach files with a native file picker control or take screenshots with a device camera. Images are immediately attached to the case, and image file names are based on a time stamp. If a device has no camera, the client skips the source selection step and the native file picker control opens.
