INC-131942 · Issue 574321

Orphaned CSS reference removed from DisplayReport harness

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.1

An intermittent invalid CSS error was appearing in the DisplayReport harness when an operation resulted in the regeneration of the harness content. This was traced to a reference to the workform_pyReportingSkin CSS, which was used in old reporting features and is not in use anymore. The reference has been removed to resolve this issue.

Corrected reference exception for filter on a grid sourced from a parameterized report definition

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.1

An Invalid Reference Exception was thrown after attempting to apply a filter on a grid sourced from a parameterized report definition. This was traced to work done to allow cross-scripting filters to allow filters to contain special characters, and has been resolved.

INC-137317 · Issue 585402

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.1

Authentication requirements have been added to activities associated with searching.

INC-125641 · Issue 573384

Column Filter working with class join

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.1

When a class join was configured in the report definition and the report was edited to include new columns from the joined class, a "Filter condition invalid" error appeared in the tracer after adding a filter condition to a new column. This was only observed when the property added was a decimal property, and did not happen for a text property. The filter worked as expected after re-saving the property in the report definition in Designer Studio. This was traced to the data type being passed as "DECIMAL" for decimal fields, which did not match the logic used to set the filter value, and has been resolved.

NativeSQL will use inline rule resolution for core components

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.1

After upgrade, nodes were going down with a heartbeat error. This was traced to issues with NativeSQL taking a very long time to generate queries due to the overhead in calling multiple complex functions to resolve rules. To correct this, updates have been made to resolve the standard set of functions used by core components inline in NativeSQL function resolution.

SR-117345 · Issue 179910

"Edit in Excel" handling corrected for delegated decision tables

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

"Edit in Excel" was not working correctly on a decision table if it was delegated to a WorkManager portal from a traditional portal. After clicking on the edit button two pop ups appeared, and the Excel sheet was not visible after the pop ups were dismissed. This was traced to an issue with ActiveX where the server was not getting a fully-qualified URL in cases of open portal threads, and a check has been added to ensure proper handling.

SR-117877 · Issue 178627

Report on implementation classes corrected for descendant class

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Report definition was not using implementation class even when 'report on descendant class' was checked. This was caused by an access group changed in RAQ not being reflected into DAQ. When a Data-Admin-Requestor has a Access group which isn't the default, the default authentication doesn't occur and as such the application data page isn't created for the requestor. The lack of an application page causes the code to not determine the associated implementation class for the report definition. This has been changed to use the access group from DAQ only if it is newer than RAQ.

Resolved clipboard conflict for obj-open-by-handle

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

Doing an obj-open-by-handle or obj-open-by-handle/copy on work objects containing properties that reference data pages caused errors about non modifiable pxObjClass properties and non matching clipboard property modes. This was caused by a clipboard conflict, and has been addressed by handling the clipboard property as set value for feature property.

SR-118224 · Issue 182305

Report Definition "Pick Value" list resolves to correct layer

Resolved in Pega Version 7.1.8

When a report definition in the framework layer has "Report on descendant class instances" checked, running the report from the implementation layer should retrieve pick list values for "Available Values" on filter popup from the implementation layer. Instead, it was getting the values from the framework layer. This was caused by the code that generates the SQL query to populate the "Pick Value" list resolving to the wrong work class name, using the framework layer work class rather than the implementation layer work class. There was a workaround of performing a 'Save As' of the affected reports to each implementation layer, but this has been fixed.
