INC-143320 · Issue 602281

Support added for email addresses with hyphen in domain name

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.5

When attempting to enter a email with a hyphen '-' in the domain part of an email ID ([email protected]), the reply button was getting disabled. This was caused by the regex validation implemented in the "pzValidateEmailAddress" (Work-Channel-Triage-Email) standard activity not covering all the possible cases. To resolve this, regex has been changed to instead use a platform-provided rule to ValidateEmailAddress.

Hot Fix Manager updated to use installation order for schema import

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.5

Schema changes were not being imported during the hot fix manager DL import process. Investigation showed this was due to hotfixes in the DL being iterated over from newest to oldest, causing older hotfixes to replace the value added to a map by the newer. To resolve this, the system has been updated to use hotfix install order, which considers selected and dependent hotfixes, rather than ordering newest to oldest. This ensures that newer table representations will override older rather than the other way around.

Added API for Pega Call Team websocket reconnect

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7.1

When a call came in, the operator was not able to pick it up due to the popup only containing a reconnect section. This has been resolved by adding the disconnectAndReconnect API which will be used by Pega Call Team if the websocket reconnect limit exceeds 5.

INC-203463 · Issue 694163

Added deferred loading for email cases

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7.1

When there were a significant number of email interactions on an email case, delays were seen when loading the case in the UI. Investigation traced this to a high number of database calls along with the BLOBs also being open. To improve performance, the new rule pyDeferLoadEmails has been added which toggles the UI and loads emails faster. In addition, the button label has been modified to read "View all emails" in place of "Show all" while defer load is enabled.
