Resolved Transfer to Queue duplicate assignments

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.1

The Transfer to a Queue option was creating duplicate assignments after accepting the Chat. Once the chat was accepted, an instance was created\maintained in both Assign-Workbasket and Assign-Worklist tables. This happened after adding the "Transfers" queue to an Agent; if that queue was not added, the transfer to a queue option gave an error to the Agent receiving\accepting the chat. The Work-.ReassignDefaults activity is an extension that was customized in the Pega-DecisionManager ruleset for a certain use case in revision management. The customization is no longer required and has become redundant and has therefore been removed to resolve this issue.

Adjusted generated file cleanup to resolve class not found issues

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.1

After upgrade, attempting to run a new multi-channel campaign failed with an error citing "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/pegarules/generated/testgen/Rule_Decision_DDF_Data_Decision_Request_Customer_DF_ProcessOffer_Action". This was traced to a temporary directory with generated java files that was cleaned up before the restart, leading to the .Class file for the DF_ProcessOffer not being present when needed. This has been resolved by adjusting the cleanup of the files so they are not removed too early.

Refined Change Request creation logic

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.1

Once a Change Request was terminated/closed with the X button available on the UI, the Change Request was created but could not be opened from the Report Manager landing page. Investigation showed that a change request created from the new revision button or create change request in the refine selection screen did not yet have pyLabel available in the CR because the assignment would not be submitted at this stage (Refine selection screen). Once the assignment was submitted, the pyLabel value would be committed to the database and be available in the change request. To resolve this, the CR creation rules have been modified and will set the pylabel value.

Corrected Cassandra startup error related to client authentication

Resolved in Pega Version 8.3.1

During provisioning, Cassandra nodes in PegaDDSTier failed to join the cluster and the error "Exception (org.apache.cassandra.exceptions.ConfigurationException) encountered during startup: Invalid yaml. Those properties [truststore_password, truststore] are not valid" was generated. Investigation showed that the recent addition of support for client authentication using the settings "dnode/cassandra_client_encryption/truststore" and "dnode/cassandra_client_encryption/truststore_password" resulted in nulls being set cassandra.yaml if the new parameters were not given values. To resolve this, truststore and truststore_password will not be added to cassandra.yaml when they are not set in prconfig or system settings.

Handling added for clearing node killed between assignment and processing

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

An Offer flow was not resuming after it expired according to the wait shape. Investigation traced this to partitions which were assigned to a dead node in NEW state where they were not picked up by the dataflow. The problem was only encountered in the unusual situation when a dataflow node was killed in the brief period of time between the assignment and the processing, and has been resolved by adding an update which will clear unknown new assigned partitions for the batch run health task.

Localization added to DelegateDescription

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

Localization was not working correctly for the description of a delegated rule due to pyDelegeteDescription being defined with a non-localized Property value. This has been resolved by localizing the property value for pyDelegeteDescription.

Updated entity attachment extraction tokenizers

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

After creating an entity extraction model, it was seen that one of the entities worked when there was a space after the semicolon but the detection was not working if there was no space. This has been resolved by updating the Tokenizers with extra examples to address tokenization when ":" is present between two words without any spaces.

Resolved error for custom relative dates

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

An error was seen when parsing the [Date Property] [is before/after] [Last/Next x days] while using a custom amount of number of days in Customer Decision Hub (CDH). This was due to the system not supporting the [Last/Next x days] feature for SSA, but only detecting this during parsing for the prefixed values for Proposition Filters and not custom values. As the parser did not realize the construct referring to the relative date was not supported, it created an SSA that caused an exception during execution. This has been resolved.

Actuals sync clears data from cache and persistence

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

When sync attempted to clear the existing data from Actuals before copying data from the interaction history, the partition was cleared from the cache but not from persistence. IH data that was then copied to the same partition time ranges had new field descriptors created that did not match the format of the old data in persistence. As a result, when a query triggered the loading of such a partition, the mix of data with the old and new formats caused the load to fail. This has been resolved by updating the system to ensure the data is deleted properly from both the cache and persistence.
