INC-220989 · Issue 719866

Improved accessibility on create harness

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

Hitting the tab key was navigating out of the popup on the create harness. This has been corrected.

INC-222507 · Issue 721695

Helper text added to clarify maxlength enforcement

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

It is possible to enter more characters into a browser field than is specified by the maximum character limit unless read-only formatting is used. This is due to the resulting HTML input tag having the type of number, which leads to the browser default behavior of not honoring the maxlength attribute. In order to clarify this, helper text has been added with the message "Min and Max characters are ignored for type Number when 'Display value using read-only formatting' is unchecked."

INC-222922 · Issue 722993

Validations fire on collapsed accordion layouts

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

Client validation was not firing on the selected tab of a layout group if the accordion layout was collapsed. If focus was switched to the second tab, the client validation on the first collapsed tab did not work. This has been resolved by modifying the 'else if' condition to pass the validation for the fields places in layout group tabs.

INC-224446 · Issue 724369

Load more works in non-templatized layout

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.5

After adding a repeating dynamic layout inside a tab group layout (which is a deprecated feature) to make it non-templatized, the progressive pagination option to show the "load more" button did not work. This was caused by the load more functionality having a dependency on pega.ui.RDL even though pega.ui.RDL was not available in case of a non-templatized grid, with the result of generating an exception which broke the flow. This has been resolved by adding a null check which will allow the flow to proceed whether the grid is used inside non-auto-generated or auto-generated elements. Please note that it is strongly recommend to update any deprecated layouts to Layout Group as it is a best practice to keep the code updated to avoid any compatibility issues.

INC-239902 · Issue 628577

Handling added for multi-file upload of duplicated files

Resolved in Pega Version 8.7

Attaching the same file multiple times during a single upload caused some of the duplicated files to not be included. The issue was not seen when attaching the same file multiple times but in different attempts. The exception "Can't continue with file attachment. FileData.xlsx is missing and might have been quarantined by anti-malware software" was logged. This was caused by the files being uploaded without updating filenames to have a unique ID, so multiple files with the same name were overwriting the previous file. This has been resolved by setting the appendUniqueIdToFileName parameter to true in the upload request so each copy of the filename is treated as an individual file.

SR-A8538 · Issue 222591

RepeatIndex generation improved

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1

Controls in a triple layout included in a row repeat did not have matching unique IDs and label for attributes. This was due to incomplete generation of the repeatindex for the ID, and has been fixed.

SR-C4920 · Issue 347563

Grid Header checkbox behavior modified for consistency

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1

Unexpected behavior was seen when clicking on the Checkbox present in Header: all other checkboxes changed their state (which was expected), but if the the Readonly checkbox was checked it was also changing the state the first time (which was not expected). After this first state change, the read-only checkboxes were not changing state (which is correct behavior). Previously, the behavior of Select All / CheckAll checkboxes was as follows: If the SelectAll / CheckAll checkbox is checked - Individual checkboxes are checked only when they are NOT disabled If the SelectAll / CheckAll checkbox is unchecked - Individual checkboxes are unchecked irrespective of their DISABLED state The behavior has now been changed as below: If the SelectAll / CheckAll checkbox is checked - Individual checkboxes are checked only when they are NOT disabled If the SelectAll / CheckAll checkbox is unchecked - Individual checkboxes are unchecked only when they are NOT disabled

SR-C7762 · Issue 350154

Commas removed from filter values to resolve validation errors

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1

When using a Grid layout configured in a section rule, clicking the Filter option and entering a comma separated value in the "To" field in a decimal-type column resulted in an "Invalid numeric range" option message. No error was seen if comma separated values were entered in both the "To" and "From" fields. Because the checkRangeFilter() function in ui_grid.js uses parseFloat() API to extract the decimal content entered in the search boxes, decimals after commas are ignored and validation failed due to the fields not matching. This issue has been fixed by implicitly removing any commas entered by the user.
