BulkMover updated to not treat Numerics as strings

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.4

When attempting to update Pega platform 8.1.1 to 8.1.3 with Oracle on a Windows machine with German locale using the out-of-place upgrade of the rules schema, the migration failed at the migration step with the error message "ORA-01722: Ungültige Zahl". This was traced to BulkMover failing when trying to convert a string to a Numeric due to the locale using commas as the decimal separator, and has been resolved by updating BulkMover to not treat Numerics as strings.

Rule lock is released after alternate approved operator rejects it

Resolved in Pega Version 8.1.4

When using the rule check-in approval process, if a rule check-in candidate was rejected by an approved operator other than the one who checked it in, the lock on the original rule was not released. This has been corrected so the lock is released after the rule is rejected in the case worker portal.

Documentation updated for altering data type to Timestamp to avoid duplicate data in Decision Hub

Resolved in Pega Version 8.5.6

By default, the pxOutComeTime column has a Date data type in the pr_data_ih_fact table. This may cause duplicate data issues. To resolve this, the 8.5 and 8.6 installation and upgrade guides for Pega Customer Decision Hub have been updated to include a new procedure "Modifying column definitions to use the TIMESTAMP datatype in an Oracle database". Performing this procedure will allow users to avoid the duplicate data issue. All documents are available from the Pega Customer Decision Hub product page.

Query split added to handle Oracle expressions limit

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

The PXCHECKFLOWDEPENDENCIES activity was throwing the Oracle error message "ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000" when a case had a very large number of sub-cases, causing a failure in trying to submit additional child cases which sent them into the broken process. This has been resolved by updating the pxCheckFlowDependencies rule to break down the query parameter into batches of 999 so they can be handled by Oracle.

Added handling to find the workparty for FixCorrespondence

Resolved in Pega Version 8.6.3

Using a Send Email smart shape and triggering email by passing the target email ID instead of the workparty role triggered the email as expected, but if a fix correspondence flow was initiated due to some error during the transaction, it was not possible to resubmit the fix flow action. Investigation showed that this was due to the fix correspondence flow check using the party role, which had not been passed. This has been resolved by updating the corrUpdate and createAndProcessCorr activities to copy the pyCorrPage from NotifyOp which contains the getgetEmailSenderInfo and use it to set pyCorrPage.pyStreamType.
