Input boxes — Text controls that are autogenerated control rules such as pxTextInput and pxText Area, or use the HTML input tag such as drop-down select boxes. You can set different values for normal and error states. You can also override the browser styles for by clearing the Use browser styles checkbox. To take advantage of styling features built into browser, it is suggested that you leave the this setting checked.
Buttons — Button controls using the pxButton control rule, and the non-menu part of the split button.
Links — Link controls using the pxLabel control rule.
Format — Used with Buttons and Links. Select a pre-defined format
(Standard
,Simple
, orStrong
). Make a selection to see the default settings. You can change them if you wish; you cannot delete them.
You can also create custom formats by clicking the magnifying glass button () next to the field. In the Edit Formats (for Buttons or Links) pop-up dialog, add a row, enter a name, and click OK to close the dialog. Select the name in the Format drop-down and enter your settings.
By default, the format you select here is applied to all Button or Link controls. You can customize an individual control within a section or flow action by opening the control's Parameters dialog and selecting a format name from the Format drop-down. To use a custom format, selectOther

Split Button Menu — The menu part of the split button. Main and Accent colors are used as defaults.
Auto Complete Menu — The text and colors used in the AutoComplete input field.
Click Preview to open in a new window a rendering of the UI elements as configured so far. To view the rendering on a traditional Pega portal, click Preview Traditional Portal in the preview window.
Click Next>> to advance to Custom, Step 5.
Click <<Back to return to the previous step.
Click Save to save your updates to the skin rule.
Click Cancel to discard your updates and exit the wizard.
Click Finish to save your updates and exit the wizard. This action opens a panel containing an array of rules comprising the skin and its associated portal and text rules. Click the edit button () to open a rule. From this form, click Reopen Skin to return to the first step, or click Cancel to exit the wizard.
