About Operator ID data instances

When your system is installed, Process Commander includes instances for four operators in the pega.com organization. OK 6/1/06 As a best practice, update these Operator IDs to use a secure password, but avoid other updates to these four records, and do not use them except as described below.

For initial and emergency access to the system with only standard rules; no applications. Uses the reserved and locked access group PRPC:Administrators.

Caution This operator ID is locked, except for the password. Change the password from the Profile display. This Operator ID is overwritten during a Process Commander upgrade; any changes you made before the upgrade are lost.

After installation, use the Organization Setup gadget to create operators for the organization you identify. Access the gadget from > Org & Security > Organization. You can also set up operators as part of the Application Accelerator or directly through the rule form.
