C-544 03-05 An Operator ID data instance provides an identifier (ID), a password and other facts and preferences. This data instance also locates a user within an organization structure, and identifies appropriate access roles and other characteristics.
An Operator ID data instance is sometimes called a profile. To view your Operator ID instance, click the link containing your name in the Designer Studio navigation panel.
Administrators can create new Operator ID data instances. All users can view, but not alter, information for themselves on the Operator tab. Managers can update information on the Operator tab. Through the profile display, users can change their own password.
To list all Operator ID instances in your system, select> Org & Security > Organization > Operators. BYRNB 2/24/10
The Data-Admin-Operator-ID class contains Operator ID data instances. They are part of the Organization category.
Operator ID instances are normally stored in the PegaRULES database as
rows of the pr_operators
table.
