Creating a development application

To support branched development, create a development application that is built on the production application. Then, create branches in the development application in which to place rules in branch rulesets.

1. Verify that the application that you are building on is configured as an application type for the New Application wizard.
2. In the Designer Studio header, click the name of your current application, and then click New Application.
3. In the New Application wizard, select the application type for the production application on which to build the development application.
4. Provide the information that is required to create the application by completing the wizard steps. See Creating an application with the New Application wizard.
5. Provide team members access to the team application that you created. See Operator ID form: Completing the Profile tab.
