Configuring text analyzer definitions for the Web Chatbot channel

The Web Chatbot configuration for a Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant includes a text analyzer definition that is based on natural language processing (NLP) in which you can define topics. Defining topics in the Web Chatbot configuration allows the chatbot to determine the best response based on user input.

To configure and test the validity of system and custom responses for a chatbot, use the preview console.

  1. Edit a Web Chatbot channel interface and click the Behavior tab.
  2. Configure text analyzer topics. For more information, see Defining Web Chatbot text analyzer topics.
  3. Click Save.
