Deploying Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation on PCF

You can deploy Pega Platform™, Pega Customer Service, and Pega Sales Automation on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to monitor and manage your networks. To deploy Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation on PCF, first deploy Pega Platform on PCF and then deploy Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation.

Before deploying Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation on PCF, access the following information:

The following instructions refer to information in these guides:

  1. Verify that your system meets the prerequisites in the Installation Guide for Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation.
  2. Deploy the Pega Platform Service Broker with a service plan that includes DSM nodes. There are two methods of deploying the Pega Platform Service Broker:
  3. Deploy Pega Platform clusters. Follow the instructions in Deploying Pega Platform Clusters on Cloud Foundry. For more information about configuration settings, see the Installation Guide for Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation and the DSM Operations Guide. As part of the deployment, configure the correct number of DSM nodes, DDS, Data Flow, ADM and VBD, based on resource requirements.
  4. ​Install Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation. Follow the instructions in the Installation Guide for Pega Customer Service and Pega Sales Automation.
  5. Restart the nodes.
