Testing the connector during a concurrent review

You can test the connector during a concurrent review and access the guidelines.

Pega Integration Solution for Change Healthcare InterQual Installation and Integration Guide
Before you begin: Specify a length of stay greater than six days.
  1. Log in to Pega Integration Solution for Change Healthcare by entering the CareManagerRM operator and the password that you specified.
  2. Click Launch portalCM Care Manager
  3. Click Patients to search for and select a patient.
  4. Click ActionsNewAdmission Notification.
  5. Complete the steps for the patient, requesting provider, servicing provider, and facility in the first four steps of the wizard.
  6. In the Manage notification step of the wizard, enter the admission details. Select at least one diagnosis code, and then click Continue.
  7. Review all the information, and then click Finish.
  8. Click the case to expand it, and then click Concurrent Review.
    The Concurrent Review calls the Change Healthcare InterQual Guidelines and searches with Diagnosis Code ICD 10: 150.9 code type. It shows all the guidelines associated with the diagnosis code. Review Manager displays the appropriate subsets from its product suite based on the diagnosis code that was passed.
  9. Enter information for the Discharge date and the Discharge LOC fields.
  10. Click Save to display the transaction ID.
  11. Click Submit.
