Back Forward Application

An application is a business solution for workflow processing that you build with the Process Commander.

Informally, an application is a set of rules in RuleSet versions accessible from an application rule.

Building the application involves a team to plan, design, create, and evolve rules through specific flows, activities, properties, Work- classes, and so on. Typically, all these rules are associated with a few RuleSets. An application rule (Rule-Application rule type) can group these RuleSets for access purposes.

Administrators can use the Export Archive and Import Archive tools to extract this set of rules from your system and upload them into another system.

One installation (one Process Commander system) can host and support multiple unrelated applications.
