Pega Financial Services for 1:1 Customer Engagement Data Model Guide

Updated on August 27, 2020

This document accompanies the Financial Services Customer Analytical Data Model that is provided by Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services. This guide is intended for system architects and data architects to learn how the application retrieves and uses data from your internal and external systems and of how data is stored and transformed in the extended Customer Analytics Record (xCAR) in the application.

For more information, see the Financial Services Customer Analytical Data Model spreadsheet on the Pega Business Excellence website.

Note: In Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services 8.5, use the Financial Services customer analytical data model to implement your solution with the Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services application. For more information, see Implementation approaches for Pega Customer Decision Hub for Financial Services.

The xCAR is a flat, structured record of the customer data in a format that is optimized for performance and real-time analytics in 1:1 Customer Engagement. The result is a solution that provides more accurate and faster business decisions and that presents customers with messages and offers that are more attractive and better-tailored to their needs.

The application also supports the integration with data from Pega Customer Relationship Management for Financial Services. This includes contact, opportunity, lead, and organization data from Pega Sales Automation for Financial Services. Pega Customer Relationship Management for Financial Services uses a data model defined by Pega Foundation for Financial Services. For a complete list of all data objects and properties defined on this data model, see Pega Foundation for Financial Services database changes on the Pega Foundation for Financial Services product page.

For additional details on how Pega integrates with your specific applications and databases, consult your delivery team.
