Compare rules
Identify the rules updated in a versions of an application, by comparing against the previous versions. This utility helps in comparing the existing application rules with the newly upgraded application. CompareRules ruleset can be added to the application ruleset stack in the implementation layer. Log in to the application to see the Rule changes and overrides new option in the Configure menu.
Rule changes
The Rule changes utility compares each rule of the current version of the application against the previous version and report the changes that each rule underwent.
- Log in to Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers.
- From the Dev Studio menu, select .
- From the Select Application dropdown list, select the list of applications for which the rule changes must be identified. All rulesets in this application will be iterated.
- In the Ruleset version - From and Ruleset version - Tofields, enter the range of ruleset versions of the current release of the application.
- Click Identify rule changes. The list of identified rule changes are displayed in a table.

Rule overrides
The Rule overrides utility allows the user to select the list of applications in which the overridden rules have to be identified by comparing against the list of rules updated in the selected base application.
- Log in to Pega Smart Dispute for Acquirers.
- From the Dev Studio menu, select .
- From the Select application to identify overrides dropdown list, select the list of applications in which the overrides needs to be identified. All rulesets in this application will be iterated.
- From the Select base application for comparison dropdown list, select the list of base applications against which rule overrides need to be identified.
- Select the version from which base application is upgraded/compared from. If Rule Change wizard was executed multiple times for comparing one application with different base applications then this dropdown can be used to select the appropriate comparison version.
- Click Identify rule overrides. The list of identified rule overrides are displayed in a table.
