Technical operator

The Technical operator (tech.cableco) allows a user to update the service fulfillment status of the service request. It also allows users to modify the service items in the request if customers want to change the services required. 

Prerequisites

The Technical operator requires the CableConnect application. Therefore, ensure that the CableConnect application has been imported into Pega Platform. For more information, see Importing CableConnect

Service fulfillment

  1. Log into Pega Platform with the tech.cableco ID to open the CableConnect application.
     
  2. In the application dashboard, go to My Work. Service requests awaiting the Technical operator update are displayed on the screen.

  3. Click the service request to update, and the service request opens. 
  4. (Optional) Click Update Service to modify the service request.

    Select the service options to modify, and then click Submit.

  5. Select the checkboxes in the Fulfillment section adjacent the request items to denote that the service items are installed and configured.

  6. Click Submit to close the service request.
