CableConnect is available as a packaged application in the starter kit's download file. Import it into Pega Platform to use it. Even though this article demonstrates the application import procedure for CableConnect, you can use the procedure to import any application. Follow this procedure to import the application:
Note: The images in the procedure below have been captured on a Mac. File explorer options might differ in your machine.
Download and extract the starter pack from Pega Marketplace.
Log into Pega Platform.
In Dev Studio, click Configure > Application > Distribution > Import to import the CableConnect application's .zip file.
The Import wizard starts and opens as a tab on the screen.

In the Import wizardtab, ensure that the Local file option is selected. Click the Choose file button, a file explorer window opens.

Navigate to and select the CableConnect application's .zip file. The name of the .zip file or source directory might differ.

Click Open. The application file is selected and its name displayed in the Import Wizard screen. Click Next.

Select the Enable advanced mode to provide more granular control over the import processcheckbox and click Next.

The imported application's operators are disabled by default, you will not be able to enable them if you do not select the Enable advanced more.. checkbox.
Select the Enable new operators and overwrite existing operators on import checkbox and click Next.

Follow the wizard, and then click Done to complete the application import process.

Log out of Pega Platform.
Log in with the CableConnect admin operator ID (admin.cableco). You can preview the Case Worker and Case Manager portals. The UI might differ based on the starter pack's platform. The following figure shows the admin operator's UI:
