Creating individual accounts for organization contacts (Pega Sales Automation)

Updated on December 15, 2021

Run the spmCreateB2CC2AForAllContacts activity to create individual accounts for all contacts associated with organizations.

Pega CRM for Healthcare Update Guide

Contacts associated with organizations are designated with a C2O (contact-to-organization) relationship type code. In Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare version 8.7, when you create a contact associated with an organization, you automatically also create an individual (B2C) account for that contact. The relationship between the contact and the individual account is called C2A (contact-to-account).

In the Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare releases prior to 8.7, individual accounts were not created for contacts associated with organizations. To create the individual accounts for contacts imported from pre-8.7 versions, run the spmCreateB2CC2AForAllContacts activity.

  1. In Dev Studio, in the search field, type spmCreateB2CC2AForAllContacts, and then click on the search icon.
  2. In the results list, click on the spmCreateB2CC2AForAllContacts activity.
    Result: The activity tab opens.
  3. On the activity tab, from the Actions drop down list, select Run.
Result: The activity creates B2C C2A links for all contacts where the link was missing. When the activity is completed, the system displays a Success message.
