Upgrading the Next-Best-Action Designer

This content applies only to On-premises and Client-managed cloud environments

Important: Before you upgrade the Next-Best-Action Designer, apply HFix-81192. The hotfix is required to make Value Finder simulations work in the Business Operations Environment (BOE). For more information, see Required Pega Customer Decision Hub hotfixes.

If you configured Next-Best-Action Designer in versions earlier than 8.5, you can continue to use the legacy configuration. However, to benefit from the new features, update your next-best-action configuration.

You can upgrade the Next-Best-Action Designer at any point after you upgrade to Pega Customer Decision Hub 8.6. For more information about the process, see Upgrading the Next-Best-Action Designer.
