Enabling code group versioning on the existing custom code groups

Updated on January 18, 2022

Pega Foundation for Healthcare supports code group versioning, which adds a new property to code groups that specifies the version. You can use this version to update your code groups.

Pega Foundation for Healthcare Update Guide
If your implementation includes custom code groups that are configured using Pega Foundation for Healthcare versions prior to release 7.23, perform the following steps to enable code group versioning on the existing custom code groups.
  1. In the header of Dev Studio, search for the Healthcare-Work-CodeGroup.UpgradecodeGroups utility.
  2. In the search results window, open and run the utility.

The utility updates all existing code group instances with a base version number, including an initial version for the custom code groups that were not versioned in previous releases. It also updates the key of the code group rule (Rule-HCCodes-CodeGroup) on the work object.

  3. Ensure that any references to the code group key in your application are also updated.
