Enabling code versioning for CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10 code types

Pega Foundation for Healthcare supports code versioning for CPT, HCPCS and ICD10 codes starting from 8.3 release. If you are updating from any versions of Pega Foundation for Healthcare from 8.2 or lower versions to 8.7, you must use the Update codes with version page to update the custom code versions for these code types.

Note: This task applies only to the CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10 custom codes that you created, not the sample codes provided by Pega Foundation for Healthcare.
  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Healthcare > Update codes with version.
  2. From the Update codes list, select one of the following options:
    • CPT - Updates the CPT code versions.
    • HCPCS - Updates the HCPCS code versions.
    • ICD10Dx - Updates the ICD10Dx codes versions.
    • Code Group Codes - Updates versions for code groups that include CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10Dx codes. Ensure that you import all your custom code groups before selecting this option.
    • All - Updates the versions for the CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10Dx codes as well as the code groups that include these codes in a single operation. Ensure that you import all your custom code groups before selecting this option.
  3. Click Submit.
