Updating Provider taxonomies
If your implementation includes provider taxonomy codes that are configured using versions earlier than Pega Foundation for Healthcare release 8.7, update the existing objects to support the data model enhancements that were made in the 8.7 release.

Update Guide
- In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Healthcare > Update NPI type for specialty. This landing page describes the enhancements made to provider taxonomy codes.
- Click Start Update to update all the provider taxonomy codes in the system.
