Importing Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare sample data
Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare media includes sample data instances for commonly referenced objects such as claims, events, event groups, action codes, and system configurations that are used to visualize business processes in the Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare.

Update Guide
To install the sample data instances, complete the following
steps:
- In the header of Dev Studio, click .
- Click Choose File.
- Select the following files from your distribution media, and then follow the
instructions in the wizard. These files must be imported in the order listed:
\SampleData\SCE_SampleClaims.jar
\SampleData\SCE_ActionCodes.jar
- From your distribution media, run the following script to clear existing sample data:
\SampleData\Delete_Sample_Instances.sql
If there are any Event codes that were created specifically for the customer implementation that are built on the Pega Smart Claims Engine for Healthcare application, keep a backup of those codes and import them again after the sample data have been imported. - After clearing the sample data, import the following files:
\SampleData\SCE_EventGroup.jar
(Optional)\SampleData\SCE_EventCodes.jar
(Optional – Import when all OOTB event codes are required for testing purposes only. For implementation layer, import the applicable event codes through Bulk uploading event codes.)\SampleData\SCE_SysConfig.jar
(Optional)
- For schema changes, depending on your site's requirements, select either
Automatic or Manual, and then continue
following the wizard instructions. If you select Manual, see Viewing and applying schema changes.
- When the import is complete, click Done.
