Creating a service request in Embedded mode
Launch MediaCo sample application in Embedded mode to create a service request for a new connection at the MediaCo cable company.
- Log in to the MediaCo sample application using any of the supported users.
The sample application displays a list of available packages on the home screen. - Click the SHOP NOW button to select a package and open the service request form.
- In the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields, enter the customer's details and then click NEXT.
- In the Customer Address stage, enter the address details and then click NEXT.
- In the Service Date stage, enter or select the service date, upon which to install the services and then click NEXT.
- In the Requested Service stage, verify the details and then click SUBMIT to create the service request.
- Optional: To return to previous stages and edit any information, click PREVIOUS.
Creating a service request in the Portal mode
You can also create a service request in the application's Portal mode. By using Portal mode to create a service request you can customize the plan, instead of using one of the fixed plans in Embedded mode. The procedures and screenflow are like those in Embedded mode.
The following figure shows the Service screen that opens after entering the customer details:
Select the required services by selecting the corresponding checkboxes. Selecting a checkbox, displays the optional features of the selected service.
