De-duplication of leads
Enable lead de-duplication to ensure that your data is free of duplicate leads. Lead de-duplication ensures clearer sales forecasts, and saves the time that your sales teams might otherwise spend in creating duplicate leads, and later in manually identifying and cleaning up duplicate leads.
As an administrator or a Sales Ops user, enable lead de-duplication and configure the rules that define the lead de-duplication logic for your organization in Dev Studio or in the administration settings in the user portal. For more information, see Configuring lead de-duplication.
Sales team members can review the duplicate leads that the system flags, and merge the duplicate leads with other existing leads. For more information, see Viewing and resolving duplicate leads.
