Product revenue schedules
While adding a product with a recurring revenue to an opportunity, you can now enter a revenue schedule, specifying the number and the frequency of payments expected towards the product. Revenue schedules assist in better forecast management by helping sales teams map the revenue to the correct time frame rather than to the opportunity close date by default.
Administrators and Sales Ops users can enable revenue schedules and specify the default revenue recurrence settings for specific products.
When a sales representative adds a product with recurring revenue to an opportunity, the revenue schedule details populate automatically. If required, sales representatives can override the default values.
