Configuring a Prior Approval case

Updated on January 18, 2022

A Prior Approval case is very useful during exceptional scenarios, for example, approving the claim for a high-priced part. Using a prior approval case, the dealer can first route the repair order to an approver. The approver, one behalf of the manufacturer, validates the repair order and approves it accordingly. After the approver approves the prior approval case, a claim is then created with the data from the prior approval case, thereby, eliminating the need for data duplication. The following sections describe how to create and configure a prior approval case.
