The Guardrail Compliance Score is a weighted score that measures overall compliance with best practices.  It assesses a variety of measures such as your application’s use of custom Java code and deprecated rule types, the existence of performance warnings in your applications, and more.

The result is a compliance score ranging from 0 to 100.  This provides an executive-level summary of whether your application is guardrail-compliant. A compliance score of 100 means that your application is guardrail-compliant and will be easiest to update and migrate.  A score approaching 0 means your application has many areas to address before you can update and migrate the software. The compliance score warnings summary highlights problem areas that need to be addressed before you can update and migrate to the latest version of the Pega Platform.

Address all severe performance and security Guardrail warnings before production Go Live.

The Guardrail Compliance Score is available from within Dev Studio.  For information about viewing and analyzing your Guardrail Compliance score, see Analyzing a Compliance Score
