Configuring a new product for the healthcare insurance plan
Products contain product details, networks, benefits, and cost shares. Products are built from product templates and are the foundation of standard and non-standard plans that health insurance organizations take to market. You configure cost shares, benefits, limits, and variations in a product. Although you configure the cost shares as ranges in the product template, the product requires configuration of a specific value from within the range that you set at the product template level.
The product includes a five-step wizard to guide you during configuration:
Step 1: Entering details for a new product
Step 2: Configuring cost shares and accumulators for a new product
Step 3: Modifying network cost shares for a new product
Step 4: Configuring benefits for a new product
Step 5: Configuring benefit categories for a new product
