Adding other task categories to the Business Analyst portal in Pega Care Management

You can add other categories in the Business Analyst portal to meet your organization's needs. Examine the categories that are included with Pega Care Management. For example, you might add Biometric data review or Completed task follow-up.

  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, enter and search for the Rule-PegaCare-Task class.
  2. Click Data ModelField Value, and create a new field value for the category.

  3. In the header of Dev Studio, enter ExecuteTask_Extension and press Enter.
  4. In the Flow row, click ExecuteTask_Extension in the PegaHC-Care-Work-Task class.
  5. On the Flow page, click Save as to save the change to your implementation-layer ruleset.
  6. Complete the fields on the Save as Flow page.

  7. Click Create and open.
  8. Based on your business needs, modify the flow by using the information in Creating a data flow.
  9. Click Save and then Check in.
