Pega Marketing™ 8.3 real-time AI connectors provide a new set of APIs that enables clients to plug in third-party AI engines to their Pega Customer Decision Hub.

While a next-best-action strategy is being executed, Pega can initiate service callouts to external AI services in tandem with Pega’s native AI capabilities, giving clients the power of both services in real-time. Modeled on Pega’s open architecture, these connectors build off existing APIs for OCR and speech-to-text processing that bring other capabilities into the Pega environment.

The results are increased accuracy, predictive power, extensibility, and accelerated development while decreasing the time to value.

In 8.3, real-time AI connectors are available for the Google AI Platform, giving clients access to advanced AI models, including TensorFlow for developing and training deep learning models and XGBoost for gradient-boosted decisions trees.
