Recording and processing inbound pre-compliance

Updated on June 29, 2022

Pega Smart Dispute for Issuergives Issuers a way record and process inbound pre-compliance.

Pega Foundation for Healthcare

The user can review and edit the default Pre-Compliance Amount if it is different from the Chargeback amount. The user can choose the Issuer response from the following options:

  • Accept
  • Accept partially
  • Reject

If the Issuer response is Accept or Accept partially, the user has a provision to split the liability for the accepted amount between Cardholder liable account and Write-off account by entering corresponding amounts.

If the Issuer response is Accept partially, the user can enter the Acceptance amount from which the Amount outstanding is auto-calculated. The user will have a provision to attach any documents.

Once a response to inbound pre-compliance is submitted with either Accept partially or Reject, the case is resolved as Pre-Comp Rejected and resolved as SplitLiability with the appropriate dispute amount. Also, the Issuer can reopen the case if a compliance filing is received from the Acquirer.

Decide Pre-Compliance response
In the Decide Pre-Compliance response screen, the user can enter the pre-compliance amount, select the issuer response, and split the liability amounts to process inbound pre-compliance.
