Recording and processing pre-compliance

In Pega Smart Dispute for Issuer, the Issuer must review the Pre Compliance Filing Amount and select the type of violation before initiating Pre-Compliance. Once the issuer initiate Pre-Compliance, the acknowledgment screen is displayed.

Initiate pre-compliance

On the Initiate Pre-Compliance screen, the Issuer can review the Pre Compliance Filing Amount and enter the desired amount, which must be less than or equal to the Dispute amount or Representment amount. When the Issuer enters a lesser amount, additional actions will display to resolve the reaming amount as Written-off or Cardholder liable. The Issuer can select any of the following options as the Type of violation:

  • Missing Required Transaction Information
  • No Signature on Panel
  • Split Transaction
  • Others - Transaction related
  • Others - Not related to Transactions

Along with the above options, the Issuer must enter values to the Date of violation and Planned filling date fields to initiate Pre-Compliance.

The issuer verify the pre-ompliance filing amount and enter values in the required fields to initiate pre-compliance.

Initiate pre-compliance multi-pronged options
The Multi-pronged options are displayed when the issuer enter lesser amount in the Pre-Compliance Filing amount field.

Pre-compliance response screen

In the Pre-ompliance response screen, the Issuer can choose any of the following actions based on the Acquirer response.

  • Accepted
  • Accepted Partial
  • Rejected
  • No Reply
If the Issuer response is Accepted, the case is resolved as Resolved-Fee Collection. If the response is Accepted Partial, Rejected, and No Reply, the Issuer can enter the partial amount as the accepted amount and choose one of the following actions for the remaining amount.
  • Write-off
  • Cardholder liable
  • Compliance
  • Multi-pronged

If the Issuer response is No Reply, and when the Issuer initiates compliance, an information message is displayed on the screen.

In the Pre-compliance response screen, the issuer can perform various actions based on the acquirer response.
