Extending complaint review actions

Updated on January 18, 2021

Complaints managers review submitted complaints and suggest further actions from the following categories: No action, Inspection, and Affirmative action. Add more actions to further customize the process. For example, add an inspection due to insufficient data.

  1. In Dev Studio, add a field value for the new action to the ComplaintAction property of the PegaPS-Data-Complaint class.

For more information about creating field values, see Creating a field value.

  2. Search for and open the ComplaintActionReason data type.

  3. On the Records tab, click Add record and add the action and a reason for the action.

For example, Inspection and Insufficient data.

  4. Optional:

To add a specific Affirmative action, add a record to the ComplaintsAffirmativeAction data type.

    For example, Send written instructions.
