Device logs

Updated on November 9, 2021

Device logs contain data that you can use to troubleshoot and support mobile apps without end-user action.

You can request that Pega Platform retrieve logs from a specific user's device when the user restarts the app, and incorporate them in the Pega log files. Log entries that are retrieved from mobile devices are stored in a separate file. You can control how much data is captured in the log by setting a log level and specifying the Universal Time (UTC) date range for which the logs are to be retrieved.

  • Retrieving device logs

Retrieve device logs to troubleshoot and support mobile apps without disturbing device users.

  • Viewing device logs

After you retrieve a device log, view the log to troubleshoot and support mobile apps without disturbing the device users.
