Resolve stage

Updated on June 20, 2022

Use the Resolve stage to configure the ResolveWriteOff, ResolveCustomerLiable, and ResolveFraud processes that automatically start based on the conditions.

Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers

The following points explain when the ResolveWriteOff, ResolveCustomerLiable, and ResolveFraud processes start automatically:

  • The ResolveWriteOff process starts when the IsResolvedWriteOff when rule evaluates to true, that is, when the case resolution status is either Resolved-WriteOff, Resolved-Courtesy Write-off, or Resolved-Credited.
  • The ResolveCustomerLiable process starts when the IsResolvedCustomerLiable when rule evaluates to true, that is, when the case resolution status is either Resolved-CardholderLiable or Resolved-SenderLiable.
  • The ResolveFraud process starts when the IsResolvedFraud when rule evaluates to true, that is, when the case resolution status is Resolved-Fraud.

For example: The following figure shows a sample configuration of the Resolve stage:
