The table below describes the default Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare personas.
Persona type | Description |
(Global) Sales Ops | Supports sales teams by setting and managing instance wide data on Tools menu (such as time periods), creating and managing territories, operators, and assigned access. Creates territory nodes and Operator IDs for Local Sales Operations and Partner Sales Operations users. The only operator that is created in Dev Studio; all other operators are created in the Pega Sales Automation application. |
Local Sales Ops | Manages an assigned subset of the Global territory structure, typically an employee. Creates territory nodes and supports users and administers roles and operator access within their assigned node of the territory. Does not have access to the Tools menu and cannot change (global) settings shared by the whole instance. |
Sales Representative | Core selling persona, responsible for all assigned leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities. |
Sales Manager | Manager of sales teams, monitors overall performance, can also be a seller. |
Channel Manager | Manages the relationships between an organization and one or more of its assigned sales partners (independents, brokers, resellers, agencies). Collaborates with other Channel Managers to make the partner channel (sellers) more effective. Helps partners onboard and collaborate with each other. |
Underwriter | Determines whether (or not) to offer health coverage, at what price, and with what exclusions or limits. Goal is to offer health coverage to prospective clients at a competitive and profitable price. |
Renewal Representatives | A group that specializes in keeping existing profitable clients, by identifying clients we want to renew and providing them with a seamless renewal experience. |
Fulfillment User | Sends enrollment related documents to customers. |
Partner Sales Operations | Acts like a Local Sales Operations user, except that they are employed by a partner. All Partner Operators belong to a Partner Organization which is in a Partner Territory. |
Partner Sales Representative | Acts like a Sales Representative, except that they are employed by a partner and may be required to submit a deal for an existing client of the organization. Partner Reps are expected to bring new clients as well as work with existing clients of the organization. |
Partner Seller Manager | Acts like a Sales Manager, except that they are employed by a partner and may be required to submit a deal for an existing client of the organization. Partner managers collaborate with Channel Managers to improve sales performance. |
