Configuring a web service to view supplier claims

Generate mashup code to display the claims submitted to a supplier. As a supplier, you can integrate your claims system with the claim system of the OEM.

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Channels.
  2. Click Web mashup.
  3. In the Basic options area, in the Name field, enter a name for the mashup.
  4. In the Description field, enter a description about the mashup.
    Note: The URL is auto-generated.
  5. Optional: Turn on the Use encryption switch to enable encryption for the URL.
  6. In the Configuration area, in the Action box, select an action you want to perform and provide additional details for the action you selected.
  7. In the Case type box, select the case type you want to use.
  8. In the Thread name field, enter the name of the thread that manages the mashup.
  9. Optional: Turn on the Defer mashup load switch to load the mashup gadget as the final item on the page.
  10. Optional: Turn on the Retain mashup state on browser refresh switch to restore the mashup status after the browser is refreshed.
  11. Optional: Turn on the Allow passing dynamic parameters switch to validate the mashup to support dynamic parameters.
  12. In the Skin box, select a skin for the action you selected.

    Pega Warranty uses MIF as the default skin.

  13. In the Iframe resizing box, select the resize mode of the mashup gadget.
  14. In the Custom parameters area, click the Add a row icon to enter a custom parameter name and value.
  15. Click Try Mobile Mashup to test your cases in a demo mashup mobile app.
  16. Click the Generate mashup code button.
  17. In the Mashup code area, click the Copy button to copy the code.

    Paste the code into a static web page or webview of an external web application.
