Mapping a Warranty survey with the repair type
To fully configure surveys in the Warranty application, first create survey questions and then map them with the repair order type. A repair technician uses these survey questions to troubleshoot the problem.
For information about how to create a survey, see Creating a survey.
After creating survey questions, as a Warranty administrator, map the survey with the repair type by completing the following steps.
- Log in as a Pega Warranty administrator using the WarSysAdmin operator ID.
- In the Dev Studio header search text field, enter SetSurveyName and select the data transform from the results.
- To save the rule in a different application, click Save as. Otherwise, click Check out.
- Map the survey name with the repair type.
- Click Check in.
- In the Dev Studio header search text field, enter DiagnosticsEnabled and select the dynamic system setting from the results.
- Change the dynamic system setting value to true and
click Save.
If the value is set to false, then the survey questions are displayed instead of the diagnosis questions.
