Organizing the contents of a portal

Updated on April 5, 2022

Help users increase productivity by populating your portal with tools that have the most relevance to their roles.

For example, you can add a Case Status widget to a dashboard to provide users in the Case Worker persona with a quick insight into the number of open cases and their progress.

  • Adding a widget to your dashboard

Increase the productivity of your team by personalizing the dashboard with widgets that display relevant information. For example, you can design a workspace that includes a widget for frequently used reports to help managers save time and oversee their projects.

  • Creating a page for an application

Build an application that matches the needs of your users by configuring custom pages. You can populate the pages with fields, controls, and resources that improve user efficiency and workflows.

  • Learning about containers in portals

A portal is an interface through which users access documents, such as cases, dashboards, and pages. You use containers to arrange these items on the screen, and create a familiar work environment for your application.
