Leads and opportunities

In Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare, leads use standard Pega Sales Automation case types. Opportunity case types include functions that are specific to Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare.

You can create a business or an individual lead. Then, you can convert a lead into a specific opportunity type.

The following table presents the opportunity types that are available for each lead type.

In Pega Sales Automation for Healthcare, group opportunity types are designed for business customers that purchase healthcare and other benefits for their employees who are active or retired.

Lead and opportunity types

IndividualPlans for individuals and their family members

Healthcare plans that can be purchased by individuals from private payers

Plans that supplement U.S. Government plans for qualified Individuals

Healthcare plans that can be purchased by individuals who are U.S. citizens or lawfully present in the U.S. and have Medicare Part A and Part B. These individuals can purchase plans from private payers approved by the U.S. Government for things like prescription medications.

Plans for Large GroupsHealthcare plans for groups with more than 100 employees or members

Opportunity stages

The opportunity case type includes the following preconfigured set of stages:

  • Qualification
  • Analysis
  • Proposal
  • Decision
  • Closed
