Enhance your branding by using templates in outbound emails (8.6)

Ensure that custom branding for Pega Email Bot™ fits the needs and requirements of your organization by creating your own templates or by using built-in templates in outbound emails. As a result, customer service representatives (CSRs) who interact with customers by email can automatically showcase the brand of your company. With outbound email templates, the emails that CSRs send to customers or other stakeholders always have a consistent look and feel that represent the unique brand for your organization.

Pega Platform™ includes three built-in outbound email templates:

  • Cobalt (blue background with the Pega logo)
  • Classic (gray background with the Pega logo)
  • Clear (no background or logo).

You select or modify an existing outbound email template during the Email channel configuration. You can also create additional templates in the system in the correspondence records list so that you can later select them when you configure the email bot. The following figure shows an example of the cobalt outbound email template for an email:
