UiPath integration

Updated on April 6, 2022

Complete the following tasks to integrate UiPath Orchestrator with your application.

  1. Configuring your UiPath Orchestrator instance

Before integrating your Pega Platform application with UiPath Orchestrator, configure the required webhooks and events in your Orchestrator instance. These webhooks enable Orchestrator to communicate with Pega Platform when an event is updated.

  2. Configuring the connection to UiPath Orchestrator

After you import your Pega Open Robotics application, configure the information that Pega Platform requires to authenticate requests from Orchestrator.

  3. Configuring Pega Platform to receive webhook calls

UiPath Orchestrator encrypts webhook calls with a key that Pega Platform uses to authenticate the call. For Pega Platform to decrypt the key, add a record to the UiPath-Tenant-Metadata data type and configure the record with the same key from the webhook that is making the request.

  4. Customizing how UiPath Orchestrator authenticates calls from Pega Platform

Optionally, you can adjust to your security best practices by changing the default method that UiPath Orchestrator uses for authenticating service calls from your Pega Platform application.
